A new Aquador 28 HT with a Volvo D6 diesel engine was just delivered to Marina Bandar Al-Rowdha, Muscat, Oman. The Norwegian expat owner is impressed by the boat and is planning to use it locally and also for longer trips on the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf.
"The boat is well suited for our family of four and we are looking forward to explore the coastline all the way up to Musandam and maybe have some trips to Abu Dhabi and Dubai also", says the owner.
Western Marine, which is headquartered in Dubai and delivered the boat, is happy to see the increased number of boats going to new boating areas like Muscat. "We are also trying to be active in all other strategic areas of GCC such as Abu Dhabi, Doha, Manama, Kuwait City and Jeddah. Muscat is an absolute paradise for boaters and it is clear that pleasure boating will increase there in the next ten years, says Jyrki Jaamaa, GM of Western Marine.
Aquador is a premium brand of Bella Boats from Finland. Raimo Sonninen, Managing Director of Bella Boats is delighted about having one of the latest models of Aquador delivered all the way to Middle East. "It is certainly a great pleasure to see our boats gradually spreading around the world. It certainly is warmer and dryer in Oman than in Finland. We are definitely planning to sell more boats to the very promising Middle East and currently looking for a strong dealer in the region.
